Prosecutors from Wrocław Appellate Prosecutor's Office have charged Marek M., a well-known Warsaw's property claims dealer. He's accused in regard to irregularities in reprivatisation of three properties in Warsaw: Dynasy 4, Opoczyńska 4B and the so-called Folwark-Służewiec.
Appellate Prosecutor Piotr Kowalczyk has informed the Polish Press Agency (PAP) about charging Marek M. As he said, the charges correspond with the Tuesday's statement by the National Public Prosecutor's Office.
"Marek M. is accused of appropriation of rights to property located in Warsaw at Opoczyńska 4B Street and "Folwark-Służewiec" property, both totalling no less than 11.5 million zlotys, as well as of fraud against two victims by obtaining rights and claims to a property located at Dynasy 4 Street, resulting in damages worth no less 1.1 million zlotys to each of the victims," the National Public Prosecutor's Office informed on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Piotr Kowalczyk told PAP that Marek M. is being interrogated. "After questioning is over, the prosecutor will decide about preventive measures," he said. He added that M. is giving his statement and that it's uncertain when the interrogation will be finished.
Marek M. was detained in Warsaw on Tuesday by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA). He was taken to Wrocław Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday.
Wrocław Appellate Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation into most of cases regarding reprivatisation irregularities in Warsaw.
