One man is dead after being attacked by another man nearby Sobieskiego and Gierymskiego streets in Warsaw's Mokotów district. The police say that the attacker has been detained.
The attack took place on Sobieskiego street, nearby a corner of Gierymskiego street in Warsaw's Mokotów district.
"The perpetrator has been detained. One person is dead," said the spokesman for the Warsaw Police, Sylwester Marczak.
Małgorzata Wersocka from Warsaw Police press office added that the man was caught a few blocks down the street where Belwederska meets Gagarina street.
Police and paramedics are working on the crime scene. "The area nearby Gierymskiego street has been cordoned off. Several police cars and two ambulances are at the scene. More police units keep on arriving," informed tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Tomasz Zieliński.
