Man accused of brutally beating up the dog Fijo stands trial

The trial of Bartosz D. began on Wednesday in Toruń. He is accused of beating up his dog Fijo with extreme cruelty. The man pleads not guilty and claims that dog's injuries were a result of a tragic accident. The prosecutor does not beleive his explanations. Bartosz D. faces up to three years in prison.
