The police are looking for a man who on Sunday morning, in Racibórz (Silesian Voivodeship), in one of local bars, stabbed a 23-year-old resident of the town several time with a knife during an altercation - officer Mirosław Szymański from Racibórz police informed.
The incident took place on Sunday in a bar on Reymonta street in Racibórz. At one point, an altercation started between the two men, a 23-year-old and a 40-year-old.
Forearm and abdomen injuries
"One of them took out a knife and attacked the other one. The 23-year-old with cut wounds to his forearm and stab wounds to his abdomen was taken to a hospital," informed officer Mirosław Szymański form Racibórz police. He added that the attacked man underwent a surgery and was in a stable condition.
Search for a knifeman
The suspect has not been detained yet. After the incident, he left the bar where it all happened. The police are determining his whereabouts. According to officer Szymański, a CCTV footage has been secured and witnesses have been questioned. He also added that an inquiry into attempted murder has been launched.
