61% of respondents think that the Constitutional Tribunal is currently a body dependant on decisions and actions of others - according to the latest poll carried out by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24. According to 20% of those asked, Poland's constitutional court is an independent institution.
In a survey carried out by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN, the respondents were asked the following question: "In Your opinion, the Constitutional Tribunal currently is..."
20% of those asked picked the answer: "a body independent from decisions and actions of other institutions".
The answer "a body dependent on decisions and actions of others" was chosen by 61% of respondents.
19% picked the answer "don't know/hard to say".
The phone survey for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24 was carried out by Kantar on October 12-13, on a nationwide, representative sample of 1000 people aged 18+.
