A majority of Poles think that, through the carried out and planned changes to the judiciary, the ruling party primarily aims to establish control over the judicial branch, according to the latest Kantar poll conducted for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24.
In a telephone survey carried out by Kantar on June 22-23, the respondents were asked about the already carried out and planned changes to the Polish judiciary.
62% of those asked said these changes were primarily introduced by the ruling party in order to subordinate the judiciary branch. 18% said the changes were primarily meant to overhaul the justice system and improve Polish courts.
The answer "don't know/hard to say" was picked by 20% of respondents.
The latest telephone poll was carried out by Kantar on June 22-23, 2022, on a nationwide, representative sample of 1,003 people aged 18+.
