Justice minister asks Constitutional Tribunal about the validity of an EU Treaty provision

Ziobro questions one article of the EU Treaty

The Polish Public Prosecutor General who is also the Minister of Justice wants to know how compatible is the Treaty of the European Union with the Polish Constitution. Zbigniew Ziobro's question is connected to one article of the treaty and he wants the Polish Constitutional Tribunal to respond. He claims that his motion concerns preliminary questions but it is also being interpreted as calling into question the validity of the European law.
