According to the last statements given by Gerald Birgfellner to investigators, 50,000 zlotys was given to a priest that was a council member of the Lech Kaczyński Foundation Institute. Apparently, Birgfellner gave the money to Jarosław Kaczyński who then paid the priest to get his approval for the plans to build the twin towers in Warsaw.
