The topics discussed with French President Emmanuel Macron included the future of a united Europe and Polish-French relations, Warsaw Mayor and Civic Coalition presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski said after Thursday's meeting with the French president.

"Discussing the future of the united Europe and Polish-French relations. And at the same time, we care about remembering history" - Trzaskowski wrote on X.

He also mentioned that during the meeting, he presented Macron with a photographic album created for the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.

The French President is visiting Poland on Thursday. First, he met with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and then with President Andrzej Duda.

"Support for Ukraine and Poland's presidency in the Council of the European Union were the main topics of Thursday's talks between the Presidents of Poland and France, Andrzej Duda and Emmanuel Macron.
