Confusion as EU Commission takes Polish energy law under scrutiny

There's still a lot of confusion regarding the price of electricity in 2019, despite recent changes and assurances that the prices will not go up. Now, contracts will have to be renegotiated. This will be a real headache for local governments and other various organisations. To make things worse, the European Commission is requesting clarification as to whether the remedies the government is applying are in line with EU law.
