"Please wish every other party such good cooperation between its leaders like we have," Poland's former prime minister Donald Tusk told TVN24. He was referring to his relations with his party colleague and Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski. In Tusk's opinion, Trzaskowski should become Poland's new president.
Chairman of Civic Platform and former Poland's prime minister Donald Tusk was guest of Friday's morning interview show "Jeden na jeden" in TVN24.
In the online part of the show, Tusk was asked by the show host Agata Adamek if he would take part in this years's edition of Campus Poland of the Future - an event organised by Warsaw Mayor and Civic Platform deputy chairman Rafał Trzaskowski. "Yes. I spoke with Rafał Trzaskowski. We haven't agreed any date, but definitely yes," he said.
"Please wish every other party such good cooperation between its leaders like we have," he added, referring to reports of alleged conflict within the Civic Platform leadership.
The host also asked Tusk who, in his opinion, should become Poland's president. "Rafał Trzaskowski. It's obvious," the former prime minister replied.
