Court: names of supporters of candidates to KRS should be made public

People have a right to know who supported candidates to the National Judicial Council, the court proclaimed and overturned the decision of the Chancellery of the Sejm to make lists of judges-referees confidential. The opposition and some judicial circles had earlier warned that classified lists of judges paves the way to serious abuse. "Today's judiciary council is subject to complete transparency," reassured Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
