The Sejm rejected the motions submitted by Civic Platform for a vote of no confidence against deputy prime minister Beata Szydło and minister of family, labour and social policy, Elżbieta Rafalska.

First the Sejm voted on deputy PM Szydło. In favour of her dismissal voted 189 MPs, while 235 were against, and four abstained.

Right after the vote, Law and Justice politicians applauded Ms Szydło and chanted: "Beata!"

Minister Elżbieta Rafalska also received loud ovation from Law and Justice members. The result of the vote was: 192 MPs in favour of dismissal, 234 against with only two abstentions.
