President Duda or president Tusk? Survey for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24

In the first round of presidential elections, 41 percent of respondents would vote for Andrzej Duda, whereas 28 percent for Donald Tusk. Should there be a second round, the sitting president would get reelected - according to a survey conducted over the phone by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24.

In the survey conducted between the 8th and 10th of May 2019, the respondent were asked who would they vote for if the presidential elections were held in the coming days and the following candidates would run.

Most of those asked said they would vote for president Andrzej Duda - 41 percent. Former prime minister and sitting European Council president, Donald Tusk would get the second result - 28 percent.

Further results would look as follows: Paweł Kukiz (7 percent), Robert Biedroń (6 percent), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (5 percent), Janusz Korwin-Mikke (4 percent) i Adrian Zandberg (1 percent).

The answer "don't know/hard to say/haven't decided yet" was picked by 8 percent of respondents.

Possible run-off

The second question pertained to a possible run-off between Andrzej Duda and Donald Tusk.

In such setting, the current Polish president could secure 56 percent of votes, while Donald Tusk - 40 percent.

The answer "don't know/hard to say/haven't decided yet" was picked by 4 percent of respondents.

Prezydent Duda czy prezydent Tusk? Sondaż dla "Faktów" TVN i TVN24 W pierwszej turze wyborów prezydenckich 41 procent respondentów zagłosowałoby na Andrzeja Dudę, a 28 procent na Donalda Tuska. W ewentualnej drugiej turze wyborów więcej wskazań również uzyskał urzędujący prezydent - tak wynika z sondażu telefonicznego Kantar przeprowadzonego na zlecenie "Faktów" TVN i TVN24. W badaniu realizowanym w dniach 8-10 maja 2019 roku respondenci zostali zapytani o to, na kogo by zagłosowali, gdyby wybory na prezydenta kraju odbywały się w najbliższych dniach, i gdyby startowali wymienieni kandydaci. Najwięcej wskazań uzyskał urzędujący prezydent Andrzej Duda, na którego głosować chce 41 procent respondentów. Na drugim miejscu znalazł się obecny szef Rady Europejskiej i były premier Donald Tusk z poparciem na poziomie 28 procent. Kolejne miejsca zajęli Paweł Kukiz (7 procent), Robert Biedroń (6 procent), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (5 procent), Janusz Korwin-Mikke (4 procent) i Adrian Zandberg (1 procent). Odpowiedzi "nie wiem/trudno powiedzieć/jeszcze nie zdecydowałem" udzieliło 8 procent ankietowanych. (http://www.tvn24.pl)
