The Polish Amputee Football national team has returned to Poland from the World Cup in Mexico. In the last match, Poles beat Spain 1:0 and came in 7th place. Earlier, in the quarterfinal they fought a dramatic battle with England. They lost in a series of penalty shots, despite leading 3:1 just two minutes before the end of the match and being one foot in the semifinals. Their team motto for the World Cup in Mexico was actually "One foot in the finals".
