The Warsaw Ghetto was the biggest in Nazi-occupied Europe. In the spring of 1943, German troops entered the ghetto in order to kill the rest of its people and to liquidate it. The Jewish fighters were ready to fight. Outnumbered and poorly armed they entered their last battle for dignity.
