"The speech of United States President Donald Trump demonstrates that Poland is an important country to be reckoned with", Prime Minister Beata Szydło assessed. She emphasized that the US is our significant partner and the talks held by President Trump in Warsaw show that Poland is an important partner for America.
‘The fact that today Donald Trump appeared here, against the backdrop of the Warsaw Uprising Monument, and that he was here with us, shows that Poland is an important state. It shows that Poland is a country to be reckoned with and Poland is a country which guarantees peace and security in the world; we are growing rapidly’, Prime Minister Szydło said to journalists after the US President delivered his speech in the Krasinski Square.
She went on to add that Poland is a country which ‘guarantees the highest possible standards of living to its citizens’ and ‘wants to collaborate with others with a view to striving for peace around the world’.
‘For us, the United States are a very important partner. The fact that President Donald Trump talked with President Andrzej Duda today, that they discussed the issues of security and economy, and that factual decisions have already been made - all this demonstrates that Poland is an important partner to the United States’, said the head of the Polish government.
The Prime Minister underlined that the US President talked about Polish heroism in his speech.
‘As the Polish Prime Minister and as a Pole, I am proud that we can experience such moments. I am proud that Poland is growing impressively and the government I have an honor to be in charge of is directing Polish matters in the right course’, Szydło said.
‘I am proud that we could witness such extraordinary and great moments here today’, the head of government added.
