From July 6-7, the Atlantic Council and the Polish Institute of International Affairs organize Global Forum in Warsaw, on the occasion of the first visit by US President Donald Trump to Poland en route to the G20 Summit in Hamburg, and in conjunction with the Three Seas Initiative Summit of regional European leaders hosted by Presidents Andrzej Duda of Poland and Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović of Croatia.
The Global Forum will convene leading transatlantic strategists, business leaders, and journalists against the backdrop of tumultuous global challenges to consider the future of the transatlantic relationship under new leadership.
Participants will exchange views on the most important opportunities and challenges defining this decade—from strategies to complete Europe and create jobs by accelerating the construction of cross-border energy, transportation, and telecommunications infrastructure across Central Europe, to the future of NATO, Russia, and the challenges posed by disinformation in an era of intense political volatility.
The Forum will also feature targeted business dialogues to help translate the Three Seas leaders’ agenda into commercially viable pathways as well as an exclusive international briefing of Poland’s strategic defense review. The Forum’s capstone is the 9th annual Atlantic Council Freedom Awards honoring those who have played critical roles in advancing and defending our freedom.
