44 percent of respondents declared that in this year's presidential election they would vote for the current president Andrzej Duda, who is running for re-election. Civic Platform's candidate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska would secure the second result with 24 percent - according to a survey conducted by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24. If there would be a run-off between the two abovementioned candidates, 54 percent of those asked would cast their vote on the current president, whereas 42 percent on Kidawa-Błońska. According to the poll, 4 percent were uncertain who they would choose.
The respondents were presented with names of candidates running in this year's presidential election, and then asked which candidate would they vote for.
The sitting president, running for re-election, Andrzej Duda (candidate of Law and Justice), was picked by 44 percent of those asked. Civic Platform's candidate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, was chosen by 24 percent.
Independent candidate, Szymon Hołownia, would secure 9 percent of votes, according to the survey, whereas Robert Biedroń (The Left) - 8 percent. Polish People's Party chairman and presidential candidate, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, as backed by 4 percent of respondents, while the candidate of Conferedation, Krzysztof Bosak, by 3 percent.
Only 1 percent declared they would vote on other candidate, and 7 percent picked the answer "don't know,/hard to say/haven't decided yet".
In total, 716 people have answered to this question.
Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska behind Andrzej Duda
The respondents were also asked about who would they support in a run-off between Andrzej Duda and Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.
President Andrzej Duda was picked by 54 percent of those asked, whereas Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska by 42 percent. The answer "don't know/hard to say/haven't decided yet" was chosen by 4 percent.
