The Ministry of Health informed on Tuesday (June 9) that 13,196 people have recovered after contracting coronavirus, 2039 have been hospitalised, and nearly 85,000 have been quarantined.
Hospitalised people are not necessarily coronavirus carriers or suffering from COVID-19, this can be only confirmed by laboratory tests. People under quarantine are mostly healthy, but had close contacts with infected or potentially infected persons.
Nearly 20,000 people have been taken under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. These are people who had not been in direct contact with virus carriers or diseased people, but for example, may have worked in the same building as a carrier.
