Patients are moving out of an old hospital in Cracow, and moving into a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital in Prokocim. The logistics of transporting 200 patients from one hospital to another seems to be a daunting task. To make sure everything goes smooth, patients will be transported in police-escorted motorcades.

American actor Richard Gere visits Polish parliament

Richard Gere paid a visit to the Polish capital on Monday. The actor was invited to parliament by a working group on matters concerning Tibet, because for years Gere has been actively involved in the support of human rights in that part of the world. Elite and high-ranking police officers detained by prosecutor's office

Former head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) branch, who had broken the "Subcarpathian affair" case, was detained on Monday by the prosecutor's request - tvn24.pl and "Superwizjer" journalists have learned. Apart from him, the current chief of the Rzeszów branch of the Central Bureau of Police Investigations (CBŚP) and other two officers of this elite formation have been detained. All are to be charged in connection to the high-profile case of brothels in Rzeszów.

Mayor of Warsaw says he's not going to run for president

Police detained man who wanted to blow up residential block in Płock

Explosive materials were found in a residential block on Kossobudzkiego street in Płock. Due to bomb disposal unit operation all residents were evacuated from the building, as well as everyone from a nearby school and preschool. Later on, the police informed that a 47-year-old resident of the flat had planned to blow up the whole building. The man was already charged.
