The U.S. Ambassador to Poland expressed "words of the utmost appreciation" for Polish soldiers on the Polish Armed Forces Day (August 15). "Shoulder to shoulder, our soldiers defend our freedom and our common values. You are our allies, friends, brothers and sisters in arms," the ambassador underscored.
More than 2,000 soldiers and hundreds of tanks, fighter jets and other military vehicles will parade through Warsaw on Tuesday on Armed Forces Day celebrated annually on August 15 to comemmorate Poland's victory over the Soviet Union's Red Army in 1920.
"Today is a big day - Armed Forces Day. On this occasion, on behalf of the United States, I extend words of the utmost appreciation," Brzezinski wrote on the X social media platform.
He stressed that military cooperation is a key element of the Polish-American relations. "Shoulder to shoulder, our soldiers defend our freedom and our common values," the U.S. ambassador added.
"You are our allies, friends, brothers and sisters in arms."
Mark Brzezinski reassured that the permanent presence of U.S. troops in Poland proved the USA's dedication to allied commitments. "Together we are stronger," he underscored.
