President Andrzej Duda and his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda have returned to Poland from a visit to the United States. They were supposed to return on Monday, but their flight was cancelled.
Polish president's visit to the United States lasted five days. During his stay, he led a high-calibre debate at the United Nations Security Council, as Poland assumed presidency of the organization.
In the Millenium Park in Chicago, the presidential pair met with the members of the Polish community living in the US.
Cancelled flight
President Duda and his wife were supposed to return to Poland on Monday. However, as the carrier cancelled the flight from Chicago to Warsaw, the pair returned on Tuesday.
The chief of corporate communication of LOT Airllines, Adrian Kubicki informed on Monday that the PLL LOT flight from Chicago to Warsaw was cancelled due to technical failure that prevented the journey to take place in accordance with the procedures.
