An unknown perpetrator had stolen items from the Holiest Divine Providence parish in Bielsk Podlaski, but later returned all the goods and left an apology card. We cannot reveal what he had stolen and where he brought it back. That's because the parson wants to reward the repentant thief, who will need to provide details known only him.
"This case proves that the Providence always takes care of everything. The value of these things pales in comparison with this person's attitude," said Father Zbigniew Karolak, the parson of the Holiest Divine Providence parish in Bielsk Podlaski.
Recently, some things had gone missing either from a kindergarten run by the parish or the parish itself. Later on, someone returned those things and left an apology card saying: "I return what I once appropriated. I'm sorry".
Repentant thief needs to prove he left the card
We do not share details on purpose, as the priest wants to reward the repentant thief, who apparently felt a prick of conscience.
"I will give 100 zlotys to the person who returnned these things. However, I need to make sure I'm rewarding the right person. I will therefore need some information, such as what things had been stolen, when and where, and in what form they were returned to the parish. That person doesn't have to reveal their identity. I can reward them anonymously," the priest explained.
