Poland reported 15,515 daily COVID-19 cases on Thursday, health ministry data showed on Thursday, the highest total since April.
Apart from the 15,515 new infection cases, the highest number since April, there were also 250 COVID-related deaths reported on Thursday.
The last time the number of infections was higher was on April 17, whereas the number of COVID-related deaths - on May 19.
For the first time since June 15, the Health Ministry has published a report stating that COVID deaths were reported in all 16 Polish voivodeships. In Lubelskie and Podlaskie voivodeships, where 60 and 43 people died respectively, the daily death reports were the highest since the start of the pandemic.
Since the start of the pandemic, Poland has reported 3,060,613 infection cases and 77,395 COVID-related deaths.
