"We hope that many people will come to the Krasiński Square in Warsaw to listen to President Trump," said the U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Paul W. Jones, in conversation with TVN24. "I think that it’ll be a great visit," he added.
In his conversation with TVN24, Paul W. Jones underlined that Donald Trump’s visit will include both an official meeting of the U.S. President with heads of states from the region on the occasion of the Three Seas Initiative Summit, but also time for contacts with "ordinary" Poles and Europeans. "An open meeting for the public," said Jones, "will be organized on July 6, around 1 p.m., at the Krasiński Square next to the Warsaw Uprising Monument. We hope that many people will come to hear President Trump," said the ambassador.
He also invited everyone to a Polish-American picnic in front of the National Stadium – the Ministry of National Defense has assumed patronage over the event. "U.S. and Polish troops will be there, there will be something to eat as well as a presentation of different types of traditional American pastimes," encouraged the ambassador. "We can all have a good time after President Trump’s speech," he added.
