While having a stroke she waited a few hours for help in the emergency room. The 21-year-old woman who was in her second month of pregnancy is now in critical condition and can only communicate by blinking her eyes. Her family believes that doctors took too long to diagnose her condition and the prosecutor's office is investigating.

Head of Poland's biggest court quits after receiving negative performance opinion

The president of the District Court in Warsaw, judge Joanna Bitner has resigned from her function, said judge Piotr Gąciarek in a phone conversation with tvn24.pl portal. The decision is said to be a result of a negative opinion issued by a council of judges of the court regarding the yearly information presented by judge Bitner about the functioning of the courts in the district in 2018.

A motorcyclist in hospital after a horrible accident near Inowrocław

The 70-year-old driver of the car forced the right of way when turning left, hitting the motorcycle and sending its rider airborne. EU leaders and the prime ministers of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein celebrated the 25th anniversary of the European Economic Area (EEA) on Friday (March 22). On the margins of a wider summit in Brussels to discuss Brexit and relations with China, the leaders posed for a family photo whilst European Council President Donald Tusk praised the advantages of the agreement. Established in 1994, the EEA allows access to the EU's single market to non EU member states.
