According to the latest political party support poll conducted by Kantar for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, the ruling United Right coalition would receive most of the election votes, with 31% of respondents declaring their support. Civic Coalition would secure 26% of votes, whereas Poland 2050 - 10%.

Sejm rejects citizens' bill liberalising abortion law

President Andrzej Duda and Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak visited Latvia on Tuesday and met with Polish soldiers stationed there as part of NATO forces. Both leaders stressed the crucial importance of NATO troops protecting the eastern flank of the Alliance. Deputy prime minister and chief of agriculture ministry Henryk Kowalczyk released a statement regarding U.S. President Joe Biden's plan to build temporary silos along the border with Ukraine, including in Poland, that would help to export grain from the war-torn country. Statistics Poland: inflation in May at 13.9% year on year

A tram driver from Wrocław saw a duck mom and her ducklings on the tracks and stopped the vehicle to help the waterbirds. "In a joint effort, the MPK (City Transport Company) crew managed to deal with the waddling crowd. The little ones had to be carried off the tracks, as the ducklings have too short legs to make it on their own," the company said.

Ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party members have been sending signals regarding potential postponement of local elections in Poland. Commenting on said rumours, president Andrzej Duda said he treated the news purely as "a media topic" and that no one had contacted him in that regard. He added, however, that the concurrent dates of local and parliamentary elections was "a rather difficult situation". PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński called the issue "a technical problem".
