Poland's coach: I put myself at the FA's disposal

"I never make impulsive decisions. My contract expires after the World Cup," said Polish national team's coach Adam Nawałka when asked whether or not Poland's poor performance in the World Cup would lead to his resignation. "Now, I'm focused on the next game. Obviously, after the last game I put myself at the disposal of the FA board and its Chairman," he added at a press conference on Monday morning.

Trzebiatów united against designer drugs

Parents, students, educators and residents marched through the streets of Trzebiatów to raise awareness of the dangers of designer drugs. Last week in the city there was a wave of poisonings due to the drugs. Several teenagers were hospitalized as a result. The suspected dealer has been arrested, charged and is in detention awaiting trial. Since the begining of this year there have been 1200 incidents of poisoning due to designer drugs.

Morawiecki: Poland will develop into technologically advanced country

"In the near future, Poland will continue to develop as a very technologically advanced country," assured prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the Impact 2018 congress in Kraków. He praised the accomplishments of startups likening them to swallows, from the saying that "one swallow soesn't make a summer". According to the PM, a whole flock of them is coming to boost the country's technological capacities. The Congress is devoted to discussing the economies of the future. The world's most advanced humanoid robot Sophia made her debut appearance in Poland.

Reactions to president's draft referendum questions

The Polish president has revealed his list of questions for the constitutional referendum that he wants to hold this November. The questions, he says, are still subject to change. Most importantly, they need to be approved by the Senate if they are to be addressed to citizens. Optimism on the subject, however, runs low in all political circles.

European Commission on Poland: key concerns unaddressed

"I regret to inform you that overall and despite all of these legislative changes, key concerns which the Commission identified in the recent proposal remain unaddressed," said the vice president of the European Commission Frans Timmermans. Rainbow appeared again at Zbawiciela Square

The rainbow is back on Zbawiciela Square in Warsaw, however this one can't be burned. This time around, it is made by projecting light on a spray of mist. This is a symbol of the LGBT community and was created by the iniative of the associations: "Equality Parade" and "Love Does Not Exclude". It is a direct link to Julita Wójcik's Rainbow that for a few years stood on Zbawiciela Square. That rainbow was torched 7 times. And in 2015, it was taken down.
