PM: herd immunity "highly likely" by the end of June

Poland's oldest living male celebrates his 111th birthday

Stanisław Kowalski has turned 111 on April 14, 2021. Only a few years back, the oldest living male in Poland was still taking part in athletic competitions. Nowadays, he no longer runs and throws the discus or the hammer, but simply enjoys his retirement. Polish activists in Belarus return home after being taken for interrogation

Two members of the Union of Poles in Belarus (ZPB), Andrzej Pisalnik and his wife Iness Todryk-Pisalnik have been already released and returned to their home in Grodno. On Wednesday morning they were detained by the police and taken to Minsk for interrogation in relation to the ZPB board members, including Andżelika Borys and Andrzej Poczobut, who are under investigation.

First general vaccination point to be opened next week

The first general vaccination point, together with 16 pilot sites, will be open April 19, Prime Minister's Chancellery chief and national vaccine programme coordinator Michał Dworczyk said at a press conference on Tuesday. Ombudsman: head of constitutional should be removed for impartiality
