A night to remember - triple gold for Poland in Berlin!

Justyna Święty-Ersetic (AZS AWF Katowice) was the first to reach the finish line in the 400 metre dash with 50,41 and won the gold medal in European Athlethic Championships in Berlin. Shortly after, Adam Kszczot won his gold in 800 metres after getting his best result this year - 1.44,59. Finally, Polish runners won woman's 4x400 metres relay race to grab third gold in a row on Saturday.

President Duda: Scouting is part of Polish independence

Poland's President Andrzej Duda on Friday visited the centenary rally of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) in Gdańsk, northern Poland, and said that the country's scouting movement is firmly etched in Polish independence.

Berlin: Poland's Paulina Guba wins gold medal in shot put

Paulina Guba (AZS UMCS Lublin) has won the gold medal in shot put at Athletics Championships in Berlin. Guba, 27, has become the European champion with a 19.33-metre throw. Klaudia Kardasz (KS Podlasie Białystok) came fourth after beating her life record with 18.48 metres.

President Duda will make 11 high-rank promotions on Armed Forces Day

Many changes are taking place in the Command of the Polish Armed Forces. There will be five new generals and six promotions to higher ranks of generals and admirals. On 15th of August, on Polish Armed Forces Day the President will hand over appointments to the officers. Most of them are currently working in individual commands in the Polish Army.
