The Polish Ambassador to the United States had to intervene and protest a banner on Fox News during their coverage of the deportation of former SS guard Jakiw Palij to Germany. The Polish diplomat criticised the channel for using the term "Polish death camp". Jakiw Palij, an ethnic Ukrainian, was a citizen of the Second Republic of Poland. He stands accused of being a former guard at the Nazi-German death camp "Trawniki" where several thousand Jews were murdered. He himself might be involved in death of 7.000 people. Tragedy during illegal racing. Drifting car injured six people. Driver arrested

A nighttime drift in Stargard led to a tragic accident. A 19-year-old lost control over his car and slammed into spectators. They're injured, some of them seriously, but none are in critical condition. The race was illegal but was being watched by a crowd of people. According to onlookers, the police were also at the scene, but they did nothing to stop the tragedy.

In Katowice, another "Constitution" T-shirt campaign is under way. On the square in front of the Silesian Theatre, people were able to make their own with paint and templates. Prosecutors from Wrocław Appellate Prosecutor's Office have charged Marek M., a well-known Warsaw's property claims dealer. He's accused in regard to irregularities in reprivatisation of three properties in Warsaw: Dynasy 4, Opoczyńska 4B and the so-called Folwark-Służewiec.

Ministry of Defense: no decision regarding purchase of Australian frigates

Poland will cooperate with Australia in the field of security. Minister of Defense's visit is a first step towards signing a defense cooperation agreement between both countries in the future - Polish Ministry of Defense (MON) informed on Wednesday. The ministry added that no decisions have been made regarding Poland's purchase of Australian Adelaide-class frigates.

Another tragic accident in an amusement park. Man died after being hit by a roller coaster

Another fatal accident took place, this time at "Energylandia" amusement park in Zator, Małopolskie voivodeship. According to the police, an employee of the park was on the tracks of an operating roller coaster when he was hit by one of the wagons. Attempts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful.
