Polish firefighters and police to help tackle fire in Czech national park

Poland, Slovakia and Italy have agreed to help Czech Republic in battling a massive fire raging in the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakusan said on Tuesday (July 26). "Already today firefighters and police officers with the use of a Black Hawk helicopter and a Bambi Bucket container will help to fight the fire in the National Park Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland," chief commander of Polish State Fire Service Andrzej Bartkowiak said on Twitter.

June inflation highest in over 25 years

Poland's inflation in June was at 15.5% year on year, which was the highest level in 25 years - Statistics Poland said on Friday. The last time consumer prices increase was higher happened in March of 1997, when inflation had reached 16.6%.
