The admiration will only grow as the movie will be shown in French cinemas in less than two weeks. In the United States, some are already predicting Oscar nominations.

Polish government buys Radom Airport that went bust in the summer

The big day is almost here. The first round of local elections in Poland will take place next Sunday. Politicians are doing their best to attract as many voters as possible. March for Equality in Lublin. Police protected participants from aggressive opponents

This gift has been handed over personally by Jerzy Owsiak, the creator and boss of the largest Polish charity.

A party went out of hand for two wanted men in Western Poland

One man was found standing in th window, another one was found in a tree. That's what the police discovered in the western city of Gorzów Wielkopolski. They were called in as locals were worried about someone trying to commit a suicide by jumping out of a window. As it turned out, both men were drunk and wanted by the police.

British Ambassador: EU citizens' situation in the UK will remain unchanged after Brexit

"Every Polish person, every EU-national person who is in the UK, on the day that we leave the EU will have their rights, their support, their priviliges maintained. Their lives will hardly change when it comes to the British government. The LGBT March for Equality in Lublin will take place after all. Initially the local mayor did not allow the event to be held due to security concerns. However, the local court has now decided the freedom to assembly is one of the crucial elements of a democratic society and that it is the role of the police to provide security at and around the event. The mayor says he will respect the verdict, but many conservative politicians, even in the Polish national government, are unhappy of the "blatant affirmation of homosexuality".

Mastermind of "robbery of the century" handed over to Polish police

Polish media dubbed it "the robbery of the century". A former police officer and deputy director of a security company stole 8 million zlotys from his own firm's convoy, in cooperation with the driver and guard. For months he alluded police and was finally caught in Odessa. Grzegorz Ł., who is believed to have been the mastermind of the operation was handed over to the police on Wednesday.
