Prosecutor refused to investigate CBA's inaction against Kaczyński

The prosecutor is refusing to open an investigation into the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau potentially not fulfilling its obligations. This concerns the failure to verify the estate declarations made by Jarosław Kaczyński. In February, the Civic Platform MPs had submitted a notification to the prosecutor on this matter. The oppostion maintains that there is a pact of silence regarding the Srebrna company.

Head of press publishers chamber: internet users can sleep soundly

"Internet users can sleep soundly," says the director of the Chamber of Press Publishers. He added that the net will be able to be used as always. Marek Frąckowiak was satisfied with the passing of ACTA 2 by the European Parliament and said it would mainly affect large internet platforms. The new laws will help to protect content creators, however it could take up to two years to streamline Polish and EU laws.

Polish Teachers' Union announced the results of the strike referendum

Nearly 79 percent of all schools and preschools in Poland declared their will to take part in the nationwide strike, the chairman of the Polish Teachers' Union (ZNP), Sławomir Broniarz announced on Thursday. According to the unions, the strike is set to begin on the 8th of April with no end date scheduled.
