A llama on the lam in a town in southern Poland

A llama is on the loose in Bieruń, Silesia. The animal ran away from a private breeder and was spotted many times over the last month on streets and fields near the city. Officials are assuring the public that the animal does not pose a threat. The owner has been fined 250 zlotys for allowing his llama to go on the lam.

Frans Timmermans commented on Polish judiciary during his visit to Warsaw

Polish judges face disciplinary charges for asking the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) for opinion, which is the fundamental right of every judge in the EU. Drunk man attacked paramedics who came to help him

They came to the rescue but ended up getting attacked instead. Paramedics were called to assists an unconscious man who was laying on the sidewalk in Strzelce Opolskie. On the scene, it turned out that he was drunk and very aggressive.

Police in Gniezno intervened to save an injured owl

Police in Gniezno had quite an extraordinary call of duty. They were brought in to save an injured owl but it took them around half an hour to catch her because she kept flying away. A man on roller-skates noticed the bird and after an unsuccessful attempt to save her on his own, he called the police.

MP Stefan Niesiołowski has been charged with corruption

Representative Stefan Niesiołowski faces corruption charges. The former Civic Platform MP was questioned by the national prosecutor's office in Łódź. He could face up to ten years in prison, if convicted. Although he did not want to comment on the matter after being charged on Friday, earlier on he had claimed he was innocent of the accusations.
