They were, however, gallant enough to allow the marriage ceremony to end before swooping in. The unusual situation took place in a registry office in Grudziądz, northern Poland. The police have gathered intelligence on the planned ceremony, but they let it to end before they detained the groom. They also allowed the couple to sign all the legal paperwork connected with the marriage before apprehending the man who was wanted since June. He is suspected of being involved in a number of crimes, including a prohibted act of endangering the life or health of others.
