European countries ask Poland if they could have imported diseased meat

'The Polish meat scandal" - that's how European countries are reacting after the TVN's "Superwizjer" report "Will buy sick cows" was aired. They are demanding that more rigorous testing take place on beef exported from Poland. After the horrific story was revealed, the Finnish food safety authority sent an inquiry to Poland on whether it could have received the meat in question.

It's full of swastikas and for years the neo-Nazis have terrorised the city. An investigation was opened during the time of Civic Platform's government and after the shift of power, it was abruptly slowed. The police speak frankly that today these neo-Nazis are being called patriots and are growing in power.

European Council President Donald Tusk said the EU-UK divorce deal was not up for renegotiation after Britain's parliament on Tuesday voted to replace the Irish "backstop" border arrangement contained in it with unspecified "alternative arrangements".

Man and woman charged for forcing women to work in an erotic chat room

After a 6-month-long investigation, the prosecutor's office pressed charges against the 35-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, who recruited young women. The charges are serious, as they include human trafficking, for which they may face up to 3 years in prison.

Nationalists and anti-Semitic slogans at the gates of Auschwitz

Commemorations for the International Holocaust Remembrance Day which took place on Sunday. However, instead of focusing on the victims and survivors, we turn our attention to the nationalist and anti-Semitic slogans that were chanted. Out of all places, in front the gates of Auschwitz. Leading the demonstration was an individual well-known to the police and the prosecutor's office. On the anniversary of the camp's liberation, he shouted about "Jewish invaders", about Poland regaining its dignity and finally, "Poland for Poles". With a megaphone in hand, not confronted by anybody, he sowed hatered as he's done many times before. Is this really the image that Poland wants to project around the world, on a day when the eyes of the world were watching?

Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki interviewed by CNN's Richard Quest in Davos

In Davos, Mateusz Morawiecki defended the actions taken by the Polish government in an interview with CNN's Richard Quest. The head of Law and Justice government stood up especially for the judicial reforms introduced in recent years. According to Morawiecki, the reforms were not fully understood by Poland's Western-European friends.

Poland’s Chief Veterinarian Officer issued a statement on Monday in regard to "Superwizjer" TVN’s report entitled "I’ll buy sick meat", aired on Saturday. In his statement, he underscored that "the revealed operations bore signs of an illegal conduct". "We may be talking about putting people’s health and lives at risk," said the spokesperson for the Chief of Police, Mariusz Ciarka.
