The Sejm Administration and Internal Affairs Committee rejected a motion to express vote of no confidence to prime minister's chancellery chief Michał Dworczyk. The motion filed by Civic Coalition pertained to last year's planned presidential election that had not happened in the end, and in relation to which the Supreme Audit Office has notified the prosecutor. The minister did not show up at the session, but was represented by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers Łukasz Schreiber.
The Sejm Administration and Internal Affairs Committee did not grant a positive opinion to Civic Coalition's motion aimed at expressing a vote of no confidence to the Chief of the Prime Minister's Chancellery Michał Dworczyk. The motion pertained to last year's presidential election through postal vote that had not happened.
In early June, Civic Coalition submitted motions for no confidence vote against three ministers: interior minister Mariusz Kamiński, deputy PM and state assets minister Jacek Sasin, and minister Dworczyk. The opposition argued that a report by the Supreme Audit Office said the three ministers and PM Morawiecki may have committed a crime when organising the said election.
At Monday's session, the Sejm Administration and Internal Affairs Committee rejected the Civic Coalition's motion.
The MPs voted on who was for granting a positive opinion to expressing a vote of no confidence to minister Dworczyk. There were 14 votes for and 18 against, with no abstentions.
The chief of the committee announced the motion did not win majority support and thus received negative opinion.
