A road police patrol stopped a driver for speeding on the S8 expressway near Zambrów (Podlaskie province). Although he was issued a ticket for his offence, three days later, he send an email to the local police station in which he thanked the officers for professionalism and praised their service.
"I wish all police stations had such officers, pure class, professionalism, and most importantly, service to citizens," we read in an email addressed to the County Police Station in Zambrów.
It was sent by a driver who, a few days earlier, had been stopped for speeding on the S8 expressway near Zambrów.
Learned his lesson and promised to change
"Mr Groszfeld informed me about my excessive speed in an immaculate manner, and as a result I received a speeding ticket," the driver wrote.
He also thanked the police officers for "impeccable manners" and a "calm way of informing about the current situation". He also reassured that he learned his lesson and was now driving by the rules.
