If the elections were held in May, 40 percent of respondents would cast their vote on Law and Justice which is 6 percentage points less than in April, according to CBOS survey. Apart from the ruling party, four parties would enter parliament. Civic Platform would get the second result with 19 percent, Kukiz ’15 movement - 10 percent, Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) - 6 percent and Polish People’s Party (PSL) - 5 percent.
According to CBOS survey, three parties wouldn't reach the 5-percent threshold. Modern Party would get 4 percent of votes, Janusz Korwin-Mikke's "Liberty" - 2 percent and Together Party (Razem) - 1 percent.
One percent of voters would choose different party than the ones mentioned, while 12 percent were undecided.
Support for Law and Justice, among those who declared their participation in the elections, fell by 6 percentage points compared to April. Support for Together Party (Razem) fell by one percentage point.
On the upswing is the support for Civic Platform and it went up by 3 percentage points. Kukiz '15 noted an increase by 5 points, while Polish People's Party (PSL), up by 2 points.
The percentage of respondents who would vote for Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Modern Party and Liberty remained the same compared to last month's survey.
Seventy percent of respondents declared that they would definitely participate in the elections, while 17 percent definitely wouldn't. Thirteen percent haven't made their decision yet.
The survey was conducted by a computer-assisted direct interview method between 10-17 May 2018 on a randomly chosen, representative sample of 1170 adult citizens of Poland.
